Submitted by Mrs. Ana Del Valle, 6th Grade Science Teacher:
Florida Christian School students, teachers, and parents met together on April 8, 2015, for the Science Fair Night, which proved to be a good means for the middle school science students to put theory into practice. The students had the opportunity to see the individual or collective performances of other students’ inspiration and to work closely together in the pursuit of science.
The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students presented their journals, research papers, power point presentations, and exhibition boards demonstrating the researching of a problem using the Scientific Method. Each student used problem solving, research writing, and public speaking skills to complete a Science Fair Project that included projects and experiments in Life Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, and Technology.
Families of the students enjoyed viewing the boards and listening to the group presentations.
