FCS Yearbook Staff Attends Conference in NYC

The FCS award-winning yearbook students, along with their faculty adviser, Mrs. Daisy Valdes, traveled to New York City to attend the Columbia Scholastic Press Association conference held at Columbia University on March 18th- 20th. The students attended a variety of sessions designed to increase their knowledge and skill in producing top-quality yearbooks.

Vanessa Marquez, 12th grader, sent this message as the group prepared to depart from New York: “This trip was absolutely amazing. After all the hard work we do in yearbook, this trip serves as not only a great time to relax and have fun, but also a time to bond with the people in yearbook. After this trip, we’re even more of a family than before.”
