We are excited to announce that our Patriot 2017 yearbook has received awards of distinction by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) and the National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA). CSPA awarded Patriot 2017 as a Gold Medalist and with All-Columbian Honors in the Verbal and Visual categories. NSPA awarded Patriot 2017 with a rating of First Class with One Mark of Distinction.
The Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA), owned and operated by Columbia University, is an international student press association, founded in 1925, whose goal is to unite student journalists and faculty advisers at schools and colleges through educational conferences, idea exchanges, textbooks, critiques and award programs. The National Scholastic Press Association promotes the standards and ethics of good journalism as accepted and practiced by print, broadcast and electronic media in the United States.
