Band
The Florida Christian School Band department offers students from 5th grade to 12th grade the opportunity to be a part of one of the premier band programs in South Florida. The bands are featured at the annual outdoor concert, Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Concerts, Spring Concerts, and high school graduation. As members of the Florida Bandmaster's Association (FBA), FCS students participate in annual solo and ensemble competition and District adjudication.
FCS band students also compete in the annual All State tryouts and represent the school at the All State event in Tampa. Middle School and Elementary bands also compete in the annual FACCS Fine Arts competition. In addition to instruction from Ken Goff, Head of the band program, and Band Directors Angela Goff and Carolyn Hutchinson, FCS band students receive weekly, individual sectional instruction from expert clinicians throughout the year.
