Faculty End of the Year Picnic 2009
During the month of May, FCS honors it's teachers with a Teacher Appreciation Week. A special lunch, special breakfast, ice cream party and give-a-ways are always planned. At the end of the week we have a faculty family picnic. At the picnic, teachers are honored for their longevity at FCS. 
Teachers also vote on a "Teacher of the Year" from their division.
This year's winners in each division are:
Pre-school Mrs. Lydia Lopez (4K)
Elementary Mrs. Sandra Smith (2nd grade)
Middle School Mrs. Jessica Fox (Drama)
High School Mr. Hugh Pericles 
(Science)
The "Servant's Heart Award" this year was given to Mrs. Barbara Kingman.

Special recognition was given to Coach Charles Zies (Science and Wrestling Coach) and Mrs. Susan Zies (FCS alumnus 1974 and Asst. Librarian) and Mrs. Patti Martin (computer technology) upon their retirement from FCS. Coach and Mrs. Zies will be moving to Tennessee and Mrs. Martin is moving to Georgia. Coach Zies is completing his 31 year at FCS, Mrs. Zies her 20th (if you do not count her years here as a student) and Mrs. Martin her 28th year.
Special recognition was also give to Dr. and Mrs. Andrews for their service to FCS for 35 years.
