Students in Mrs. Melanie Hopkin’s Honors Anatomy classes performed an experiment which allowed each student to see individual cells taken from inside his/her own cheek. Using a flat toothpick, the students swabbed the inside of their cheek and then swabbed the toothpick onto a glass slide. The students then put a drop of water and a drop of blue dye on the slide. A second slide was placed on top and the students viewed their cells through a microscope. The cells were so detailed, even the nuclei were easy to see. Fascinating!
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14
