Twelfth grader Michael Parra couldn’t wait for the University of Miami representative to begin her talk with the FCS students interested in attending UM. He even made sure to bring along his UM jacket to show his Hurricane pride. Michael, along with dozens of other students, attended the informative meeting with Iris Florez, UM Admissions Representative, held Friday, Sept.18th as part of FCS’s ongoing visiting universities series. Our students learned about UM’s programs of study, majors, post-graduate employment opportunities and more. UM is a private research university founded in 1925 with more than 16,000 students from around the world. It comprises 11 schools and colleges serving undergraduate and graduate students in more than 180 majors and programs.
May God bless our students as they make decisions about their college careers! Go Patriots!
