FCS Student Email Login Instructions

Florida Christian School (FCS) is pleased to offer Microsoft 365 email access to students in grades 3K through 12. Please follow the directions below to claim your student's email account.

Please provide the following information to each student for initial login (if you are the parent of a student under the age of 13, please complete the following steps yourself):

STEP 1. Go to https://office.com to register the student's email - click sign-in.

Login Credentials:

·       User ID: firstname.lastname@floridachristian.org (ex. john.smith@floridachristian.org)

·       Password: new1@FCS (password is case sensitive)

·       Update your password.

STEP 2. FCS Parent Consent. Click on the arrow to expand, scroll to read, and then click “Accept”.

STEP 3. Complete registration by following the instructions. Provide the student's cell phone (or parent cell phone if you are the parent of a student under the age of 13) to receive an access code. This cell phone will be used for password recovery.

STEP 4. Sign out everywhere, then open a new tab and go to https://office.com and sign on to your new Microsoft Student Email account. If you have additional students: once you sign out everywhere, go back to office.com and repeat STEPS 1 to 4 for each additional student. 

Don’t forget to bookmark the page and save the password! 

Once the student logs in, he/she can find icons that link to educational sites and resources like Microsoft Teams.

Please Note:

·       Student Wi-Fi: Instructions on student Wi-Fi access will be sent before the first day of school.

·       Current Students: RenWeb Student Portal ID and passwords have not changed.

·       New Students: You will receive a separate email with your RenWeb Student Portal ID and password before the first day of school.

Student Laptop Recommendations 

Florida Christian School provides the following information to assist parents with decisions about computer purchases. In general, most new or recently purchased laptops that students bring with them to the school will meet the basic requirements for network connectivity on the Florida Christian School’s wireless network, regardless of Operating System (Windows/PC Platform or Mac OS). 

These are the minimum recommendations for computers connecting to Florida Christian School’s network: 

  • Intel Core i5 Processor or AMD Ryzen5 

  • 8 GB RAM 

  • 256 GB SSD Storage 

  • 5G Wi-Fi (802.11ac) 

  • Windows 10 

Note: Students will NOT be allowed to use their Mobile Smart Device (Cell Phones) in the classrooms.
