Teacher Blessing Fund in Collaboration with PTCF

At Florida Christian School, our teachers do more than teach. They pour into our Lil’ Patriots’ lives daily with love, patience, and encouragement. As a school family, we have the opportunity to return that same encouragement through the Teacher Blessing Fund.

With one simple gift, the Teacher Blessing Fund covers:

·         Teacher Appreciation Week celebrations

Q: Why did this initiative start?
Last year, our Middle School PTCF piloted this approach, and it proved to be very successful. In addition, our parent survey feedback highlighted that families felt there were too many separate requests for contributions throughout the year. This one-time giving model helps alleviate that concern by simplifying the process for families while still ensuring our teachers feel celebrated and appreciated all year long. Our goal is to simplify the process and create ease for families, while still making sure our teachers feel celebrated and encouraged year-round.

Q: Does this replace giving personal gifts to my child’s teacher?

Not at all! Families are always welcome to give additional gifts for birthdays, Christmas, or special occasions. In addition, Room Moms have the opportunity to personalize how the Teacher Blessing gifts are presented, adding their own thoughtful touches to make each celebration feel special.

Q: Will there be other collections during the year?
No. This fund is designed to eliminate multiple asks. There will not be any additional cash collections outside of this link.

Q: Who organizes this?

This initiative is coordinated by the PTCF (Parent Teacher Christian Fellowship) in collaboration with each division’s administration. 

Q: How is the money used?

All funds collected go directly toward celebrating and appreciating our teachers, elective teachers, and teacher aides throughout the school year. This includes birthday surprises, Christmas gifts, and Teacher Appreciation Week events — all organized and distributed by FCS Administration & PTCF. Our heart is to steward your donation well and use it to unite our school community in showing consistent gratitude and encouragement to those who invest in our Patriots every day.

Q: Is participation required?
Participation is completely voluntary. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact and is deeply appreciated.

Q: How much should we give?
We recommend a contribution of $100 per student; however, we encourage families to give what feels right for them. Every contribution, big or small, helps us honor our teachers as a united FCS Family.

Q: Do we have to pay the full amount all at once?
No, not at all. You are welcome to contribute at your own pace. The same link can be used multiple times, so you can give in smaller amounts over time if that works better for your family. Every contribution, whether given all at once or in installments, helps us show unified appreciation to our teachers.

Q: What if I give after my child’s teacher’s birthday has already passed?
That’s perfectly fine. Reconciliation will take place before the end of the school year to ensure every teacher receives the full amount they are owed from the final collection. If a birthday or other milestone has already passed, the teacher will still receive their portion based on the total collected, so no one is missed or overlooked.

 

Our school-wide giving season unites all divisions in celebration, fundraising, and campus pride.  This action-packed week is a highlight of the school year, filled with friendly competitions that ignite school spirit, division-wide goals that bring students together, and exciting class and individual prizes that keep the energy high. From themed dress-up days to surprise challenges, every moment is designed to engage and inspire. Families, teachers, and staff join in the fun, cheering on our students and celebrating their achievements. It’s more than just a week of activities—it’s a celebration of Patriot pride, unity, and generosity that creates lasting memories for our entire school community. This year’s Patriot Proud Fund will enhance programs and spaces across both campuses, including:

• Phase 2 of Main Campus playground
• Middle School lockers area
• High School lockers
• A covered structure connecting the cafeteria with the L-Building (Art Rooms and Clinic)

Generosity Opportunity: Every family (3K through 12th grade) is encouraged to participate—not only by giving, but also by inviting friends, relatives, and others invested in your student’s life to join in. Together, we can rally a network of support that will directly impact every Patriot student.

Thanksgiving Family Celebration

Join us for a heartwarming evening as our Patriot family comes together to celebrate the season of gratitude. Enjoy delicious food, live entertainment, and festive activities for all ages while we reflect on the many blessings God has given our school community.

Generosity Opportunity: Partner with us by sponsoring unique experiences or exciting carnival rides. Your business will be recognized throughout the event and will help create memorable moments for our families.

12th Annual Patriots Cup Golf Tournament
March 6 2026

This signature FCS tradition brings together alumni, parents, and friends for a day of friendly competition and community spirit. In addition to enjoying a premier golf experience, participants will make a tangible impact—this year’s proceeds will help fund a brand-new Alumni Gym floor, a space central to student life, hosting chapels, assemblies, school-wide events, and athletics for every grade.

Generosity Opportunity: Support the cause by purchasing a foursome, sponsoring the tournament, or making a direct donation toward the gym project.
