A Summer of Transformation at FCS

In just a few days, our hallways will once again be filled with laughter, learning, prayer, and the energy that makes Florida Christian School so special. We can't wait to welcome our students and families back home.

While our classrooms were quiet this summer, our campus certainly wasn't.

From early mornings to late evenings, our Facilities, Operations, and Administrative teams worked tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare every classroom, hallway, athletic space, and gathering area for another incredible school year.

Thanks to God's faithfulness, the generous support of our Patriot community, and the careful stewardship of school resources, this summer became one of the most transformational seasons in recent FCS history.

Here's a look at what was accomplished across our Main and West Campuses:

This summer, together, we accomplished:

  • Replaced the M Building roof and recoated the Alumni Gym roof.
  • Installed a brand-new Alumni Gym floor, creating an incredible space for our student-athletes and school community. (Estimated reopening: September 2026.)
  • Resurfaced and repainted parking lots across both campuses. 
  • Repaired campus-wide fencing and completed the replacing of railings, improving both safety and the overall appearance of our campus.
  • Installed new covered awnings connecting the Main Campus buildings, providing improved shade, weather protection, and accessibility for students and families.
  • Installed new hurricane impact windows and doors in the A Building.
  • Completed the installation of new lockers for our high school students.
  • Upgraded the West Campus cafeteria with new cabinetry.
  • Renovated the West Campus Office to create a warm, welcoming, and Patriot Proud space for our families, students, and guests.
  • Enhanced our Main Campus elementary playground with a new shade structure, updated play areas, and refreshed landscaping.
  • Refreshed our Little Patriots Imagination Playground at the West Campus with upgraded equipment and brand-new turf.
  • Renovated our Science and Consumer Science labs, creating enhanced learning environments for our students.
  • Completed a full campus-wide pressure washing, refreshing every building and walkway.

But many of this summer's improvements happened behind the scenes.

Our Facilities team completed preventive maintenance on all 100 air conditioning units across both campuses—servicing, repairing, and restoring units entirely in-house. New drainage improvements were also installed in key areas throughout campus to help prevent future issues and keep our classrooms comfortable throughout the year.

From refreshed landscaping and new outdoor seating areas to countless finishing touches, every detail was thoughtfully completed to create welcoming spaces that reflect the excellence and care that define Florida Christian School.

Every improvement—large or small—was made with one purpose in mind: creating an environment where every Patriot can learn, grow, discover God's purpose for their life, and continue becoming a World Changer for Christ.

As you walk our campus during Welcome Back Patriots Day, we hope you'll notice more than renovated spaces and beautiful improvements. We hope you'll see the result of a community that continues to invest in the next generation.
