Monthly Patriot Newsletter

At our last all-school PTCF meeting, I shared how thankful my wife and I were as young parents, for the times that our Christian school and church helped to fill in some of the ‘gaps’ we experienced in our young family.
As we often chuckle about, our kids did not arrive with an owner’s manual. We read books on parenting. We consult experts. We pray a lot. We wing it at times and generally we figure a lot out along the way. (Sound familiar?).
One of the ‘gaps’ we had was about grandparents. When we arrived in the USA, we had no family and no established friendships. In the little church we attended, we got to know an elderly couple who connected with our kids and grew to love them, and sometimes spoilt them, as grandparents are supposed to. When Grandparents Day at our school approached this dear couple offered to attend as our kid’s adopted grandparents. Our kids loved it, and Claire and I really appreciated it.
I am so thankful for the Family of God, and for all the ways that my school and church have served my family over the years. I am also immeasurably thankful for the wonderful FCS family we are all a part of.
A very special thank you to all of you who participated in, and contributed towards the very successful Patriot Proud fundraiser.

Parent Prayer Meetings (Weekly)
Prayer is our first response, not our last. One of the greatest gifts we can give our children, teachers, and school community is to faithfully lift them up in prayer. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them."
We invite all FCS parents (and grandparents) to join us as we pray for our students, families, faculty, and the school year ahead. Whether you're a longtime prayer warrior or simply looking for a place to grow in your faith, you are welcome.
📍 Location: L-102
🕗 Time: 8:00 AM
- Tuesdays: English Prayer Meeting
- Thursdays: Reunión de Oración en Español
Come as you are. Let's seek the Lord together and cover Patriot Nation in prayer.

Patriots on Mission - No Uniform Days!
At Florida Christian School, we desire to help students grow not only in knowledge, but also in compassion, generosity, and a heart for serving others. Throughout the school year, we designate one day each month as a Patriots on Mission No Uniform Day, giving students the opportunity to support missions while enjoying a dress-down day that follows the No Uniform Day guidelines outlined in the Parent-Student Handbook.
A $20 annual donation allows students to participate in all Patriots on Mission No Uniform Days throughout the school year, with all proceeds directly supporting the ministry and outreach efforts of our Patriots on Mission Program.
